Governor Knowles State Forest

This 55-mile long and over 19,500 acre managed forest, parallels the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and offers a diverse opportunity for recreation and hunting. Camping opportunities include the new rustic St. Croix Family Campground, backpack camping, the Trade River Horse Camp and the Sioux Portage Group Camp. Camper registration is required.
